In 1996 Zephyr established Dance is for EveryBODY a community education program designed to provide an ongoing dance presence in Chicago's West Bucktown neighborhood, and beyond. Components of the program include:

PRIMO: After School Dance/Theatre Program
PRIMO provides a healthy, active and expressive alternative for children ages 6-12 during the precarious after-school hours. Zephyr's curriculum offers experiences in self-expression, positive body-image development, teamwork and confidence building through dance and theatre learning, practice and performance. The children's original works are then presented in seasonal performances for their families, friends and the community.
Senior Outreach
Another important component of the Dance is for EveryBODY program is Zephyr’s annual traveling performance series designed for residents living in Chicago area senior citizen homes. Underwritten in part by the Rothschild Foundation, Zephyr visits 20 non-ambulatory senior citizen homes twice each year offering interactive performance/participation events.
Performing Arts Camp
Every summer Zephyr Dance offers an intensive Performing Arts Camp for boys and girls ages 6-13. Zephyr’s camp focuses on learning dance and theatre techniques, building teamwork through the creative process and presenting a dance/theatre production for family and community members at the end of the session. Zephyr artists focus on bringing out the individual creativity of each Camp participant then helping to edit together those individual voices into one strong collective creative voice.
