Zephyr premieres the second in a series of studies that will culminate in a new evening-length work. Ballad of a Dying Hapsburg, Study #2 showcases two unknown personas circling each other amidst repurposed set pieces, costumes and ephemera set within the starkness of Dovetail Studio’s architecture. Michelle Kranicke and Molly Strom perform a meditation on impermanence and transience in an elaborate dance of unknowingness and non-discovery.
The 3320 Dance Festival is designed to showcase the choreographic depth and varied aesthetics of Chicago’s dance community highlighting experienced choreographers within the intimate setting of Dovetail Studio’s Garage Space.
