Zephyr premieres the third in a series of studies that will culminate in a new evening-length work. Ballad of a Dying Hapsburg, Study #3 builds on the past 3 years of research focusing on empires and lineages falling away. The dance cherry picks elements and themes from Zephyr works over the past 25 years that consistently recur and reemerge.
The 3320 Dance Festival is designed to showcase the choreographic depth and varied aesthetics of Chicago’s dance community highlighting experienced choreographers within the intimate setting of Dovetail Studio’s Garage Space.
