A contemporary festival, a milestone achieved, a treat for Jane Austen fans, a celebration of a local boy made good and an experimental performance are just part of what’s on tap.
Zephyr is one of the city’s more experimental outfits, which is underscored by Site/less, its rough-around-the-edges incubator/performance/installation space at 1250 W. Augusta Blvd.—a programming partner of the 2019 Chicago Architecture Biennial. “On Notice,” a collaboration between Zephyr Director Michelle Kranicke and architect David Sundry, is a kinetic investigation mirroring the ways we negotiate actual and virtual space, one that allows the audience to move about and view the proceedings from multiple vantage points.
